What I do find interesting is why a digital newsletter would be in a PDF format.

We run these particular newsletters in PDF format partly as a service for those of our clients who use Macs, to preserve the layouts and occasional illustrations. We also produce our bi-monthly Marketing Manifesto in HTML, so we're not restricted to a single page (indeed we usually run into double figures). We also tweet (automatically posted to Facebook), we blog, and will soon be producing a Google Wave offering for those on the cutting edge. Something for everyone, really. Oh, and you'll also find us occasionally in print, most regularly in Marketing Magazine.
