December and January results for the Radio Bureau’s ORCA winners have meshed into one with Jonathan McMahon & Lisa Fedyszyn from DDB Auckland taking the winning honours for their McDonalds ‘Signs You Love Caramel’ ad. And sticking with fast food ads, Graeme Clarke & Sam Dickson from Colenso BBDO were awarded a close Merit for their Burger King ads ‘The Boss’ and ‘The Wifey’.

Peter Ogden (JWT), James Mok (Draft FCB) and Anne Boothroyd (Saatchi & Saatchi) performed the judging duties, with one commenting: “Congratulations to McDonalds and those bastards at DDB, I want a Caramel Shake now!”

The February’s ORCAs will be the last of the year with all winners over the year going through to the Grande ORCA finals. The winner form the final will snap up a trip for two to the Cannes Lions, entry for their ad into the Radio Lions, a radio campaign to the value of $50k for their client and, for themselves, a $1,000 cheque.

Listen to the DDB’s winning entry here and Colenso’s BK effort here.
