Ecostore to get extra special treatment

Ecostore wants to take on the world. So it’s appointed Special Group as the design and communications agency to help do it.

“We think Special are a great fit for our business” says ecostore marketing manager Melissa Fletcher. “Their ability to develop both brilliant brand design and packaging, and take that right through to innovative communications campaigns will help us punch well above our weight as we take on the big guys – both here and overseas” (it’s already begun).

Special Group managing partner Michael Redwood says it’s great score for the agency (but it’s not an entirely surprising one, given their recent AXIS domination with Orcon’s ‘Together Incredible’).

“They are an inspiring company, and great people. And absolute proof that sustainability and tremendous commercial success are totally compatible”.

Established 18 years ago, ecostore now sells throughout Australia, Asia and the US. It was named New Zealand’s ‘Sustainable Business of the Year’ at the 2009 NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards, is a Deloitte Fast 50 company and its owner puts up billboards just because they look nice.
