Adding to the list of websites that distract you from your daily work, comes the announcement of dailydo.co.nz, a site offering one day only bargains.

Don’t mix it up with popular website 1-day however, which also offers one day only deals. This newbie is made especially for people commonly known as ‘Aucklanders’.

Well actually, anyone can take advantage of the deals, but  the site specialises in offering consumers between 50% to 90% discount at some of Auckland’s most popular restaurants, concerts, events, tours, salons, retail shops and more.

Dailydo’s founder, Mike Bullot, predicts that the savings will be so great, it could save Aucklanders over $1 million on things to do in and around Auckland over the next 12 months.

Having been through tough financial times consumers are more strapped for cash than ever and they’re cutting back on the activities they do for fun, whether that is heading to their favourite restaurant or enjoying a relaxing facial,” says Bullot.

“The great thing about dailydo is that it’s win-win for not only the consumer, but also local business. We present consumers with a great deal, and in turn, that business gets a whole heap of new customers.”

Some of the featured deals so far have included:

  • 75% off a PGA Golf Lesson
  • 60% off Day Spa package with Ellipse Spa at the Scene
  • 90% off YOU Photography session + hair cut and colour + cosmetics
  • 50% off Fergs Kayaks Hire
  • 50% Lilliputt minigolf

Interested Merchants can check out the ‘get featured’ material on the site to see how dailydo’s marketing initiatives could work for them.
