It’s DB’s 80th anniversary this year. So what better way to celebrate than to add a host of new staff to the roster and welcome back a former employee from secondment.

Greg Murphy joins DB as national sales manager, DB Hospitality, from Yellow, where he was national sales manager, digital media. Prior to this he was acting sales director for the Yellow Pages Group. Also new to DB is Paul Millward, who will take up the role of national retail manager. Most recently, he worked in commercial excellence and sales force optimisation roles in Europe. He also worked for SCA and has analyst and financial experience.
Gerald MacDonald, who has a strong trade marketing background and has worked for BP, Griffins, Rothmans and Toops, has been appointed national accounts and wholesale manager within the DB Hospitality division.
Peter Crawshaw joins DB from the BNZ to take up the role of sales development manager with his role involving designing and delivering optimum learning and development strategies for DB’s commercial sales force.
Lydia Blatch has joined DB’s corporate affairs team as communications advisor from boutique consultancy The PR Shop. She is now responsible for public relations activity for key DB brands including Export, Tiger and Tui.
And finally, as part of its international succession planning strategy, René de Monchy has returned to DB as marketing manager after nearly four years working for Heineken International. De Monchy was most recently Heineken marketing manager for Western Europe based in Amsterdam and he now reports to DB’s general manager of marketing, Clare Morgan.
All appointments are based at DB’s head office at Waitemata Brewery.
