Awards are seen as something of a badge of honour in agency land. And so, too, is having staff members chosen as jurors to decide who gets them.

Four New Zealanders (and five Australians) have been chosen for jury duty at the 2010 New York Festivals International Advertising Awards. Peter Ogden, executive creative director at JWT Auckland, will judge the TV/Cinema category, Philip Andrew, CEO/ECD at Clemenger will judge Print, Greg Whitham, interactive creative director at Ogilvy, will judge Digital & Interactive, and Mark Addy, digital creative director at JWT Auckland, will judge Digital & Interactive.

It was also announced last week that Nick Worthington, Colenso’s executive creative director, would be a member of the elite Titanium and Integrated Jury at the 57th Cannes Lions Advertising Festival.
