Like have a great TVC and playing it on an obscure back-yard regional TV station. The best ad in the world will still be next to useless if hardly anyone sees it! Trickery + hoopla still won't magically get the other 95% of NZrs to see these billboards.

Nice idea – but only 2 billboards, in two cities? Yellow’s taken an essentially private media (Twitter) and attached it to a public media (Outdoor). Which either means Yellow thinks Josh’s tweets make for more interesting Outdoor, or that Yellow wants people to see it using Twitter hoping it will make the brand look more interesting/progressive/something. Cynically, I suspect the latter. So you’ve got a brand using a media that doesn’t really work in a very public way to make itself look more interesting. It’s a bit like seeing your grandfather wearing a Trucker cap to a funeral.

It seems a bit of a stretch.

Yellow’s taken an essentially private media (Twitter) and attached it to a public media (Outdoor). The treehouse project had a great pay off - you got to dine in a unique and amazing space, which help enage you in the mission to build it. Do people really want to eat yellow chocolate? All I can think of is over ripe bananas - yuk!

Am I missing something… yellow chocolate? It's all a bit cerebral, whereas the restaurant idea had very strong connection with suppliers.

I must confess to being a bit puzzled by the taste yellow thing.
