MAA-Globes-logoapma logoThe Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide (MAA Worldwide) has announced the MAA GLOBES finalists for the Best of the Best Promotional Marketing Campaigns in the World for 2009.

pCountries_globeAustralasian Promotional Marketing Association (APMA) Star Award winners are eligible to participate in the GLOBES. This year Australian and NZ agencies are finalists in nine categories, the best result in 24 years of the GLOBES. Mango Communications is a finalist in Best Brand Awareness & Trial Campaign for Air NZ cranial billboards and TBWA\WHYBIN\TEQUILA’s man vending machine for Flossie is in the Best Innovative Idea or Concept category. And not only that, TBWA’s campaign is one of the three finalists in the Best of the Best in the World. Outstanding. (They’re up against DDB China for McDonald’s and Arnold US for Wal-Mart).

Twenty-eight countries participate in the GLOBES, convened by an international panel of around 100 judges. The winners of the MAA GLOBES 2009 will be announced at a gala ceremony at the Langham Hotel, Boston, on Tuesday 20 October.
