Go nature (and sheep)! ... not necessarily Icebreaker...

I think Icebreaker has made a rather sweeping statement about synthetic products that is not really true or is simplistic at best.

“synthetic tops make great plastic bags – but aren’t great to run in” Umm… they might want to do a bit more research on that one..

In fairness, Merino wool IS a great natural fibre and has amazing thermal and temperature regulating properties. Things made from petroleum actually don’t release carbon back into the atmosphere…unless it is burned. I like your marketing idea but I was thinking that we could create more jobs and save scarce resources if we invented more ways to use recycled plastic. That way we would increase recycling rates, keep plastic out of our landfills and oceans.
Just a thought, but I like your idea of making something from plastic. Using, reusing, recycling and reclaiming recourses are the only way we are going to help the environment.
