Twitter-Logoecostore_logoSet your alarms for 3pm NZ time on Thursday 1 October: ecostore founder Malcolm Rands, also known as Eco Man, will be hosting a one-hour party in cyberspace via Twitter. This is your chance to chat tweet-to-tweet and get some sustainable living tips from this successful and insightful eco-entrepreneur. His company recently won the northern region Sustainable Business of the Year award. More than 20,000 people from around the world are expected to tune in.

The party is organised by eco-friendly US website 3 Green Angels. It hosts weekly events on Twitter, featuring various environmentally aware companies.

Here’s how to get online and join in the conversation:

  1. Get a free Twitter account if you don’t have one
  2. Go to 3greenangels.com at 3pm, Thursday 1 October.
  3. Click on Twitter Party at the top of the page.
  4. You have joined the Tweet Party – follow the conversation and join in the chat with EcoMan by using the #ecowed hashtag at the end of each tweet.

Have fun!
