Mingle bells

mingleCalling all juggernauts, magnates and moguls. Paul Matthews and Alex Erasmus from Bullet PR have organised a bit of a do for the marcomms and media industries, so register online here and head down to the inaugural Media Mingle on 19 November to engage in, as the title suggests, some hearty mingling.

CAANZ, PRINZ, and the Marketing Association are supporting the events but, unlike many of the other industry soirees, Media Mingle won’t enlist any speakers, encourage debate or promote education (it’s too close to Christmas for that, anyway). Rather, its MO is for people in the industry just to get together, have a good time and spread gossip and slander.

The first event is a warm up for a larger festive shindig and it is hoped Media Mingles will be monthly occurrences after that.

Suite Bar (cnr of Hobson and Wolfe St) is hosting the first event and providing some food; Absolut Vodka is providing free Vodka; professional photographer George Passmore will be taking photos; and website and graphic design agency gardyneHOLT has built the website.
