Calling all creatives, cash and glory on the table

Saatchi & Saatchi and Tui were bathed in inky glory—and a fair bit of cash—a few weeks back when their Valentine's Day ad was named as the newspaper ad of the year. And that means the 2013 round is underway now, so if you’ve run a great press ad over July, August or September, all you need to do is email the ad you want included, along with publication date and name, to ideas@newsworksnz.co.nz and it'll be included in the monthly judging.

The competition recognises the best newspaper ad each month as judged by a monthly panel of top New Zealand creatives. Each monthly winner goes forward to the Newspaper Ad of the Year competition where the ultimate winner is awarded with a major $10,000 cash prize, the largest cash prize for a competition like this in Australasia.

In addition, each monthly winner receives a $250 cash prize, a trophy for the agency and the winning work automatically goes forward to the Newspaper of the Year competition.  Plus it’s a chance to show your great newspaper work to some of the country’s best creative minds.
