All decked out in their Thursday night best

They came, they drank, they feasted, they smiled for the cameras, and a few even marched up onstage to collect an award or three (and StopPress kept a running Twitter tally through sausage-fingered and increasingly drunken tweets).

The biggie of the night, the Supreme Award, went to Volkswagen New Zealand, while outgoing Air NZ CEO Rob Fyfe picked up the prestigious Marketing Excellence award, and Jasmine Griffin from J.H Whittakers & Sons was named rookie of the year.

Evergreen favourite What’s My Number made an appearance (in the public sector category) but the big success story of the night was Pfizer New Zealand for the tricky Avigra/Viagra brand campaign.
